A Senior Credit Controller responsible for all invoicing, credit control for all Company entities and accounting to Trial Balance within a successful and growing international business. This role is varied requiring a considered, organised, commercial approach and a can-do attitude. The Credit Controller will be required, with the relevant time and training, to be fully conversant with all aspects of Purchase, Sales and General Ledgers. Experience in Xero is a must as well as a sound accounting background and knowledge of foreign exchange. The candidate must demonstrate good communication skills, both written and spoken.
Tasks include:
- Full Credit Control function (credit approval, weekly reporting on debtors’ book, provision for bad debts)
- Capturing all sales invoices and any credit notes accurately
- Reconciling all bank accounts, including Stripe, Magento, Amazon and PayPal.
- Inputting all approved non-stock purchase invoices across companies
- Accounts Payable responsibility across companies
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
- Calculating monthly depreciation
- Posting and reconciling all intercompany accounts
- Quarterly VAT across relevant companies
- Assisting with Management Accounting for all the entities
- Checking and assisting with posting staff expenses
- Managing company credit cards
- Overseeing the company vehicles, insurances etc
- Assisting with annual audit
- Ad hoc duties as and when required by Finance Manager or Senior Management.
Location: The role is based in Farsley, Leeds within modern refurbed office space with on-site parking.
