Chef Works Europe Ltd. is looking for a self-motivated, highly-organised Business Development Executive who will be 100% outbound focused, developing relationships and sales within the hospitality sector in this exciting new business role working in collaboration with field based sales team across the UK.
Reports to: Commercial Director.
Works with: Field-based Regional Business Development Managers & Customer Service.
Interviews: Applications close March 29th with first interviews the week following.
A TYPICAL WEEK as a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
- Research and contact prospects to build a sales pipeline.
- Sell Chef Works, Bragard and third‑party products, directly to customers where an in‑person appointment isn’t required.
- Update your CRM account for all prospects to build data and maximise opportunity.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Customer Support and Marketing whilst collaborating with our field‑based team to drive mutual business goals.
- Effective use of the sales process to sell on brand/quality/value, encouraging repeat business.
- Achieve substantial daily calls, new social media connections and ultimately sales.
- Communicating and building rapport with customers through effective listening.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Attend remote/in‑person team meetings, conferences, awards and training days when requested by senior management.
- Display excellent product/service knowledge and delivering this over the telephone or in a presentation when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience of success in a high‑volume telephone sales/service environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to self‑motivate and work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Evidence that you can achieve targets.
- Ability to create positive and memorable first impressions over the telephone, creating the right environment of trust and empathy to build a strong initial rapport.
- Ability to create uniform programs answering a customer brief.
- Understand and utilise a sales process, with effective questioning.
- Show resilience and tenacity to get passed the toughest of gatekeepers.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage competing demands arising from internal and external relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven to achieve personal and team objectives whilst demonstrating Chef Works culture.
- IT literacy – Microsoft Office and CRM system experience.
