Chef Works Europe Ltd. is looking for a self-motivated, highly organised Business Development Executive who will be 100% outbound focused in this exciting new business role, focused on specific regions in the UK. Researching and cold-calling predetermined prospects to sell products and book field-based appointments for larger potential customers who require a face-to-face meeting. The successful Business Development Executive will report directly to the Sales Director and work on a day-to-day basis with the field-based regional team.
Salary: £24-25k basic depending on experience, plus healthy uncapped commission structure.
Office based in Farsley, LS28 with on-site parking.

A typical week as a Business Development Executive:
· Research and contact prospects and where needed, gain appointments for our field-based team.
· Sell Chef Works, Bragard and third-party products, directly to customers where an in-person appointment isn’t required.
· Update your CRM account with new prospects to build data and maximise opportunity.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders including Customer Support and Marketing whilst supporting the field-based teams to drive business goals.
· Effective use of the sales process to sell on brand/quality/value and encourage repeat business.
· Achieve substantial daily dials (approx. 20 per day), new social media connections (at least 10 daily) and talk time of approx. 3 hours per day.
· Communicating and building rapport with customers through effective listening.
· Achieve monthly revenue targets set by National Business Development Manager.
· Attend remote/in-person team meetings, conferences, awards and training days when requested by senior management.
· Display excellent Chef Works, Bragard and third-party product/service knowledge and be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver this knowledge and product information over the telephone or in a presentation format when required.
Skills/Experience required:
· Proven experience of success in a high-volume telephone sales/service environment.
· Demonstrate the ability to self-motivate and work autonomously as well as within a team.
· Evidence that you can achieve targets.
· Ability to create positive and memorable first impressions over the telephone, creating the right environment of trust and empathy to build a strong initial rapport.
· Understand and utilise a sales process, with effective questioning and listening.
· Show resilience and tenacity to get passed the toughest of gatekeepers.
· Excellent organisational and planning skills.
· Ability to manage competing demands arising from internal and external relationships.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Driven to achieve personal and team objectives whilst demonstrating Chef Works culture.
· PC literacy – Microsoft Office and CRM system experience.
