Our client is seeking an exceptional Hotel General Manager to lead a stunning 5-star country house hotel, spa, gym, and leisure operation in Buckinghamshire. The Role

As General Manager, you will take full P&L responsibility for the hotel, spa, and leisure facilities, driving performance across all revenue streams while maintaining impeccable 5-star standards. You will lead a large, multi-departmental team, ensuring seamless guest journeys from arrival to departure across rooms, dining, spa, and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional 5-star guest experiences across all touchpoints
  • Lead and inspire Heads of Department across Rooms, F&B, Spa, Leisure, Sales, and Events
  • Drive revenue growth in rooms, spa memberships, treatments, weddings, and corporate business
  • Implement robust yield and cost-control strategies to maximise profitability
  • Oversee spa and leisure performance, including memberships and retail
  • Maintain brand standards, Forbes/LQA-style service levels, and compliance
  • Develop strong local, national, and international market presence
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and full P&L accountability

About You

We are looking for a proven luxury hotel leader who:

  • Is currently a General Manager or Resident Manager/Hotel Manager within a 5-star hotel or resort
  • Has significant experience overseeing spa and leisure operations
  • Has a strong track record in luxury weddings and events
  • Is highly commercial with experience driving ADR, RevPAR, and ancillary revenues
  • Leads by example with a visible, hands-on management style
  • Is passionate about team development and 5-star service culture
  • Has strong financial and operational expertise
