A multi outlet prestigious Country Hotel, with golf course and spa, that offers fresh seasonal menus using locally sourced produce is seeking a Head Chef to run the kitchen and ensure the excellent reputation for the high standard of food served is maintained. In this position of Head Chef you will have autonomy on the menu for the modern restaurant as well as the menus for the busy function department. This role offers good working hours to ensure a work life balance is achieved for the team in the kitchen. The multi outlet hotel is busy all year round but especially during the holiday periods. The kitchens serve the terrace, private dining and have a strong banqueting and conference department, all dishes are made using fresh seasonal produce.

In this role of Head Chef you must have banqueting experience, be confident in food ordering, GPs, stocktaking and menu development and also able to manage the staff and hold standards.

Requirements:

  • A Head Chef who has a strong corporate background where you were cooking all dishes from fresh ingredients.
  • The role needs a strong Head Chef who has a mature approach, a self motivator and able to manage a team of enthusiastic chefs.
  • Due to the location it is essential that you have your own transport.
