The Chef Owner of a rural country Inn is seeking a Sous/head Chef who can ensure that current high standards and reputation of this upmarket gastro pub are retained in his absence. The kitchen of the property has a team of three chefs who you will work with ensuring a punctual, quality service. As well as the seasonally changing home cooked pub classics with a modern twist menus there are also regular changing upmarket specials all prepared with fresh ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. There is a 30 to 60 cover lunch and dinner service, bar snacks are available and small private functions are catered for.
Requirements:
A CDP or Junior Sous Chef who can show longevity working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a motivated chef able to work under pressure maintaining excellent service and standards.
Own transport is essential.
