A Senior Sous Chef position is available at a good quality food led Cornish pub that has built a excellent reputation for offering high quality, modern British pub food. In this role of Senior Sous Chef you will be joining and assisting to lead a team of seven chefs preparing dishes using locally sourced fresh seasonal produce, for an average of 50 -60 covers which increases during the summer months due to the influx of visitors to the region. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and a reputation working in a face paced kitchen with a focused team that is pushing for awards. You will also need to have a sound working knowledge of all kitchen paperwork and able to run the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
Requirements:
The Head Chef is seeking an experienced Sous Chef who has a stable background working in busy fresh food kitchens, proving that you are able to work well under pressure. A passionate and enthusiastic chef who is flexible committed and eager to push forward the standards of this pub
