An exciting opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef is available at a four-star, multi-outlet hotel with a busy dining operation where you will be joining a large team of 20 chefs. The property has two restaurants that have separate menus offering modern British dining, all prepared from scratch using fresh, seasonal produce. There is also a large conference and banqueting department used by both corporate and leisure guests.
As Senior Sous Chef, you will support the senior chefs, but this is a hands-on role and you will be strongly involved in training and nurturing the junior members of the team.
Requirements:
- CVs will be considered from Sous Chefs; it is important that they highlight experience working in busy fresh food kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 2 years.
- A Sous Chef who has the drive and ability to push forward standards, be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved.
- A Sous Chef who can demonstrate a good knowledge of kitchen paperwork, legal requirements, able to organise a team of 20 chefs and work well under pressure.
