An excellent opportunity for 2 Sous chefs to join a historic Yorkshire Inn that has an excellent reputation for the standard of food served in the restaurant. With a focus on the best seasonal ingredients, the menu is refined and always evolving. The food is bold, vibrant and inventive comprising of quality ingredients locally sourced and foraged, which are crafted into unique dishes. The inn currently serves 600 covers a week but the long term plan is to increase this to 900 and this is also a popular weddings and event venue.
As Sous Chef, you will assist the senior chefs to train and support the kitchen team. The position will allow you to have a strong input on the menu dishes and also give you an opportunity to learn more culinary skills.
Requirements:- The role needs a Sous Chef that ideally has experience working in rosette kitchens but this is not essential.
- Banqueting experience is also preferred but again not essential.
- A Sous Chef who is innovative and creative with a passion for culinary arts, pays attention to detail and has a high standard of presentation is required.
- Due to the location of this property it is essential that you have your own transport.
