An excellent opportunity for a Head Chef, who is looking for a work life balance, to join a successful care company. In this role you will work day time shifts 5 days out of 7 from 7.30am to 5pm, with alternate weekends off. In this job you will be providing nutritionally balanced and visually appealing breakfasts, lunches and light teas for residents, whilst also catering for special dietary requirements. You will be helping to create menus working with fresh ingredients and will be encouraged to be creative. You will also liaise with the care staff to ensure residents' needs are catered for.
Requirements:
- A Head Chef who has a minimum of 2 years experience working in fresh food kitchens, consistently producing quality food.
- Must have full understanding of dietary needs and special diets to take on this position.
- Must keep abreast of Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation.
- A Head Chef who has good communication skills, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to not only provide meals for the residents but also cater for parties and birthdays etc. to make a difference.
