The Exec Chef of a group of pubs is seeking a talented Head Chef to join the group at one of its flagship pubs near Preston. The pub is very busy with a high turnover, offering all day dining and Sunday lunch of which the menus are semi branded. They require a Head Chef that can take ownership of the food and maintain the standards that are expected by the locals and visitors that return regularly due to the pub’s good reputation in the area.
The Head Chef will need to work closely with the Exec Chef and a motivated large team of chefs to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The seasonally changing semi branded fresh food menus consist of favourite pub dishes and as Head Chef you will have a good degree of autonomy on the specials.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this role will have recently been working at either Senior Sous or Head Chef level and have experience of fresh food volume pubs or restaurants.
- A Chef that is a good leader, a forward thinker, able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure is essential for this role.
