An Exciting Head Chef position is available to join an experienced team at a country hotel which has a great reputation for offering its guests high quality dining. The hotel has a variety of outlets including the fine dining restaurant, a conservatory that serves lighter meals, snacks and afternoon teas and also provides for events and private functions. The hotel is located in a stunning location and is very busy during the summer season you will be responsible for managing, training and developing a team of chefs and must have a proven track record of being maintaining budgets. Any additional hours worked over the 45 hours contracted will be paid as overtime.
Requirements:
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced Head chef with a proven track record working in a minimum 1 AA rosette multi outlet fresh food establishment. You must have good communication and leadership skills and be professional at all times. Need extensive understanding of P&L, GP, menu costing, wage budgeting & purchasing. Be highly organised ensuring compliance with health & safety, COSHH, allergens and food safety. Must have a hands on approach and a passion for menu development and pushing culinary boundaries to drive the business forward.
