The owner of an established 200 cover fish and seafood restaurant is seeking an Exec Head Chef to manage the stable team of 18 in the kitchen. The restaurant is popular all year round but very busy during the summer season, serving locals and destination visitors with the dishes on the menus being created using fresh seasonally changing fish and shellfish. This is a hands-on role and you will be leading from the front, putting your own ideas on the menus and daily special dishes. As Exec Head Chef, it is essential that you are able to delegate duties and manage your chefs effectively.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate should have experience of working with fish and shellfish dishes and have a background consisting of Rosette or Michelin training.
  • It is essential that you are hard working, passionate, forward thinking and have a can-do attitude.
  • It is also essential that you have a proven track record of operating in similar restaurant environments and have demonstrated the ability to manage a team.

This Restaurant is closed each January.
