The owner of a modern 3 AA rosette, Michelin recommended fine dining restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef. The modern British tasting menus are inspired by natural flavour combinations and seasonality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented, passionate team that are working together to achieve even higher accolades.
As Sous Chef you will be expected to lead a team of chef de Partie to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen, and delivering the Head Chef’s vision. You will be capable of running any section, able to develop more junior members of the team, pass on knowledge and share creative ideas.
Requirements
- The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a chef de Partie.
- Good experience at 3 AA rosette level or equivalent.
- A good grasp of ordering and cost control process.
- Level 2 Food Safety.
- A team leader with exceptional work ethic, drive and motivation.
- Due to the rural location your own transport is essential.
