Chef de Partie – TP2559

An established, quality-led Contract caterer is recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join a team at an independent school in Sheffield. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering fresh, high quality food for pupils, staff and visitors, preparing nutritious dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients. Working with a team of 12 you will be responsible for preparing and presenting foods to the highest standards whilst supporting the smoot day to day running of the kitchen. You will also support hospitality events including governors meetings, parents evenings and open days. There is also an element of sports hospitality which may provide opportunities for overtime on Saturdays.

This is a term-time position working 40 hours per week.

• 6.30am to 2:30/3pm Mondays to Fridays

Requirements:

A Chef de Partie who has experience of working in a similar high-pressured environment. Must have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety, be highly organised keeping up standards of hygiene and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy. You must have excellent customer service and social skills to be able to communicate with the children and teenagers.
