Overview
The owners of an award-winning pub with rooms which has a busy dining operation are recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join the stable team of chefs working in the kitchen. The venue offers lunch, dinner and all-day Sunday menus featuring dishes prepared from local produce and changed regularly to reflect the seasons, along with a specials board. In this Chef de Partie role you will be working within a small team of up to 6 chefs. The owners are committed to training and development. The pub is located in spectacular countryside which is a busy tourist attraction, especially during the summer season.
Responsibilities
- Work within a small team of up to 6 chefs in a busy kitchen.
- Prepare high-quality dishes using local produce; participate in menu and specials development as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and portion control.
- Support the head chef with daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency across service periods.
Requirements
A Chef de Partie who has worked in a similar fresh food pub or restaurant where you gained all-round cooking skills is required. It is important that you have a passion for good cooking, strong cooking abilities and the creativity to design new dishes.
