The worst Seafood Chef job in London - La Petite Poissonnerie - London
Chef & Cook
Working in a restaurant with open kitchen (who does that nowadays?) Long hours 40/50 (who works that long?) Including 1 single shift and 3 very long double shifts. Bad salary (by today's new standards). Only 3 days off a week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings!!!). Grumpy boss (he's French, what do you expect?!). Terrible clients (friendly and polite). Far from anywhere (Marble Arch). You will have to smell real food and eat some. Served some amazing seafood (seriously, who likes seafood?!). Cook some of the best seafood in London. Suitable candidates must have some knife skills and must love seafood, maybe at the level of kitchen assistant/commis. I said the worst job in London—are you crazy enough to apply or even do a trial? Fixed holidays: 3 weeks in August and the first week of January.
Must have the right to work in the UK as we do NOT pay cash in hand. We pay monthly on the 28th of every month.
