Senior Bespoke Cake Artist - Caffe Concerto - London

This role is ideal for a highly skilled cake professional who enjoys bringing customers' visions to life. Most of our bespoke orders are based on customer-provided inspiration images, photographs, and design concepts. Therefore, the ability to accurately replicate designs to an exceptional standard is essential. The ability to create original cake concepts and artistic designs is highly desirable.

• Creating bespoke celebration, wedding, novelty, and corporate cakes.
• Reproducing customer-supplied designs with outstanding attention to detail.
• Designing and crafting sugar flowers, figurines, toppers, and decorative elements.
• Working with fondant, modelling chocolate, buttercream, ganache, royal icing, and other specialist finishes.
• Sculpting and decorating cakes to a luxury standard.
• Managing multiple bespoke orders while meeting production deadlines.
• Collaborating with the sales and production teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Proven experience as a Bespoke Cake Artist, Cake Designer, Sugarcraft Artist, or Senior Cake Decorator.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating celebration cakes, wedding cakes, novelty cakes, and sugarcraft work.
• Excellent handcrafting and modelling skills.
• Ability to accurately replicate customer designs and inspiration images.
• Strong understanding of colour matching, finishing techniques, and luxury presentation. Creative flair with the ability to develop original concepts when required.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
• Positive attitude and passion for cake artistry.
• London NW10 7RG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred), Bespoke Cake Artist: 5 years (required). Competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £42,000 per annum, with flexibility for the right candidate.
