A distinguished UHNW family based in Central London is seeking a talented and professional Private Chef with expertise in Italian, Spanish and French cuisine. This is a live-out role in London with 1 to 3 month travel throughout the year. There will be extensive travel to Europe with the family.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lunch and dinner daily for the family, breakfast only for the family during holidays and upon occasion.
  • Prepare lunch for the household staff.
  • Deliver consistently high quality, seasonal, and health conscious meals focused on Italian, Spanish and French culinary traditions.
  • Knowledge in Japanese or Asian cuisine is a huge plus.
  • Travel with the family, ensuring kitchen and provisioning readiness across all locations.
  • Manage food sourcing, kitchen hygiene, and pantry stock, respecting dietary preferences and high standards.
  • Maintain a highly organised, clean kitchen.
  • Innovate and suggest daily/weekly menus, including new suggestions for adults and children.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Work closely with the family and household team to adapt menus and routines based on travel, events, and changing requirements.

Schedule & Flexibility

  • 5 days per week with weekend flexibility required.
  • Two consecutive days off: Sunday & Monday.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Accommodation & Vehicle

While abroad, a private studio apartment and vehicle will be provided.

Professional Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef in high-profile, private households is desirable.
  • Previous experience as Head Chef in high tier restaurants.
  • Specialised in Italian, Spanish or French cuisine with a refined, modern touch.
  • Additional knowledge in Japanese or Asian cuisine is a bonus.

Soft Skills

  • Highly professional, discreet, well presented, and enthusiastic.
  • Very organised, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in fast paced environments.
