We are looking for a reliable Night Baker to join our small team, producing fresh dough overnight ready for the morning team to shape, prove and bake each trading day.
You will handle dough production from scratch—mixing and portioning to our recipes and specs—keeping quality and consistency spot-on every batch.
You will work independently through the night, so we need someone who is self-sufficient, organised, very reliable and quality-driven, with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepping doughs and batch quantities to the production plan
- Correct chilling and storage of doughs
- Keeping the kitchen clean-as-you-go
- Completing temperature and hygiene records
- Leaving everything ready for a smooth morning handover
Qualifications
- Previous professional baking experience is essential (enriched doughs or viennoiserie is a big plus)
- Level 2 Food Safety preferred, or willingness to complete it shortly after starting
