Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across our menu of delicious British cuisine, featuring seasonal produce and dishes from London's oldest butcher.
  • Develop and innovate menus, elevating pub classics with seasonal flair and creating dishes that truly impress our guests.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, health, and safety (HACCP) within the kitchen.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and cost control to achieve financial targets and maintain profitability.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow, even during our busiest periods, maintaining composure and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready for the next step, ideally within a busy pub or restaurant setting.
  • A true passion for food, creativity, and culinary excellence, with a deep understanding of British cuisine.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, leading by example.
  • A commitment to continuous training and development for your team members.
