From our signature Detroit-style pies to Pinsa and new pizza styles we're currently developing, we like experimenting with different doughs, formats, flavours and toppings.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Line Chef to join our team and grow with us as we continue developing the menu.

You don't need to be a pizza expert - we'll teach you our processes.

What matters most is that you're confident in a professional kitchen, work well under pressure and genuinely care about the food you send out.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and cooking our different styles of pizza
  • Handling daily food prep and mise en place
  • Working the line during busy lunch and evening services
  • Helping us maintain consistency across dough, toppings and finished dishes
  • Getting involved in testing and developing new pizza styles and menu ideas
  • Making sure every order leaves the kitchen looking and tasting great
  • Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
  • Keeping your section clean, organised and fully stocked
  • Working closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly

Requirements

  • Has previous experience in a professional kitchen
  • Has solid general kitchen and food-preparation skills
  • Can work quickly and stay organised during busy service
  • Is interested in pizza, dough and experimenting with different food concepts
  • Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their section
  • Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
  • Communicates confidently in English
  • Enjoys being part of a small, hands-on team
  • Has a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred, but not essential)
  • About Pizza Social Club

We're not trying to make another classic pizza.

Pizza Social Club is about taking pizza in different directions - different doughs, shapes, textures, toppings and ideas.

We started with Detroit-style pizza and are now expanding the menu with Pinsa and other formats.

We're a small independent business, which means everyone on the team can make an impact.

If you enjoy cooking, experimenting and want to be part of developing something rather than simply following the same menu every day, you'll fit right in.

Benefits

  • £13.50 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full training on our pizza-making processes
  • The opportunity to work with and learn different pizza styles
  • A chance to contribute ideas and get involved in menu development
  • A friendly, supportive and energetic team
  • Hands-on experience in a growing independent food business
  • Opportunities to take on more responsibility as we grow
