We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead all kitchen areas on site, ensuring smooth daily operations, top‑quality pizza, efficient service and a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Kitchen Operations Manager and General Manager.
  • Run all kitchen areas and oversee daily operations.
  • Maintain pizza quality, speed and service standards.
  • Develop and lead the chef team, providing regular appraisals and keeping staff engaged.
  • Achieve GP and portioning targets.
  • Maintain five‑star food hygiene standards.
  • Create and manage staff rosters within budgeted labour costs.
  • Order and rotate stock to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Apply robust risk assessments and food safety knowledge in a commercial kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Masterclass pizza‑making skills and a genuine passion for pizza.
  • Expertise in Neapolitan‑style pizza, dough stretching and baking in a stone‑based Marana oven.
  • Prior experience leading and developing a culinary team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • First‑class organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of risk assessments, food safety and hygiene requirements.
