Head Chef - Third group uk - London

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team of a busy London venue. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining consistently high food standards, managing the team and ensuring excellent food safety and hygiene standards. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a chef who enjoys developing people, improving kitchen operations and delivering great food in a fast-paced environment.,

• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
• Manage the day-to-day kitchen operation
• Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation
• Create and maintain effective kitchen systems and procedures
• Manage food ordering, stock control and wastage
• Monitor food costs and GP
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards
• Manage kitchen rotas and staffing levels
• Train and develop junior chefs
• Work closely with the General Manager and wider management team
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen
• Ensure service runs smoothly during busy periods
• Support menu development and seasonal changes
• Has previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen manager
• Has experience working in a busy kitchen environment
• Is confident leading and developing a team
• Has strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Understands food cost, GP and stock management
• Can remain calm and organised under pressure
• Takes pride in food quality and presentation
• Has excellent communication and leadership skills
• Is reliable, professional and hands-on
• £40,000-£45,000 salary
