Head Chef – Al Sorriso Ltd – Richmond

We are looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen of our exciting new restaurant opening in Richmond.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to build and lead a talented team, develop outstanding Italian cuisine, and play a key role in launching a new dining destination.

Qualifications

  • Extensive, proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high‑quality Italian restaurants.
  • Outstanding knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, including fresh pasta, regional specialties, and seasonal menus.
  • Strong expertise in food cost control, GP management, stock control, and waste reduction.
  • Experience creating profitable menus while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate a kitchen team.
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
