We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our small kitchen team based within a private members club in Sutton. We are looking for someone who is confident preparing classic English and British cuisine, with a good understanding of traditional, homely dishes and the ability to produce food to a consistently high standard. Our kitchen serves 2-3 courses each evening, with numbers ranging from approximately 10-100 members per night. We also cater for private functions and events throughout the year. The role would suit a Cook who enjoys classic pub/bistro-style food, is comfortable working independently, and takes pride in good-quality, well-presented food. Training and support will be provided, but previous professional kitchen experience is required.
- Preparing and cooking classic British/English dishes
- Preparing 2-3 course evening meals
- Supporting the kitchen during busy services
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Following food hygiene and allergen procedures
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Assisting with private events and functions throughout the year
