As a Sushi Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of the sushi section, working with premium ingredients while maintaining the highest standards of preparation, presentation, and consistency. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth service and supporting the development of junior team members within a dynamic brigade.
Responsibilities
- Preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki, and other Japanese dishes to the highest standards
- Managing and organising the sushi section during service
- Ensuring consistency, precision, and efficiency throughout busy services
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Maintaining exceptional food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation
- Supporting and mentoring junior chefs within the section
- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
Qualifications
- Has previous experience as a Sushi Chef de Partie or an experienced Sushi Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Demonstrates excellent knife skills and strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients and techniques
