We're looking for an experienced kebab chef to join KIEZ, our Berlin-inspired kebab restaurant in Notting Hill. Hands‑on experience preparing traditional Turkish döner from scratch is essential, including meat preparation, marinating, layering and stacking spits. You should be confident working independently and take pride in consistency, quality and keeping your section organised. Responsibilities
- Preparing, trimming and marinating meat.
- Building and stacking döner spits to a consistent standard.
- Cooking, carving and assembling kebabs during service.
- Managing prep levels, portions and wastage.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Proven experience in Turkish cuisine, specifically döner preparation.
- Good knife skills, attention to detail and pace.
- Reliability and confidence in a busy kitchen.
- Sufficient English to understand prep instructions, follow food safety procedures and communicate clearly with the team during service.
