Morena is an all-day dining restaurant inspired by the vibrant flavours of Latin America, offering innovative brunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and beverage menus. We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Recipe Development Chef to develop and refine recipes across our food and non-alcoholic beverage offerings, including brunch, dinner, canapés, cookies, matcha drinks, cream-based beverages, and smoothies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Maintain recipe specifications and accurate recipe costing to ensure profitability.
- Monitor ingredient costs and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Train kitchen and service teams on new recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
- Ensure consistency through quality control, coaching, and ongoing support.
- Support seasonal menu updates, product launches, and continuous menu innovation.
