Job Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh pasta and pasta dough to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
- Master the cooking and finishing of pasta dishes, delivering outstanding flavour, texture, and presentation during service.
- Run your section with confidence, maintaining excellent organisation, preparation, and control throughout busy shifts.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Maintain high standards of mise en place, stock rotation, and ingredient quality within your section.
- Uphold the highest levels of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
- Show flexibility within the kitchen, confidently supporting other sections such as pastry and larder when required, contributing to a smooth and collaborative service across the brigade.
Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie and strong experience working on a dedicated pasta section.
- Has a genuine passion for Italian cuisine and fresh pasta production.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and presentation.
- Remains calm, focused, and positive under pressure during busy services.
- Is a strong team player with excellent communication and a proactive attitude.
- Understands and consistently applies food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
