Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Gardener to maintain the outdoor areas of three pub beer gardens and an adjoining car park.
- Hours
- Approximately 4–6 hours per week during the spring and summer months.
- Reduced hours during autumn and winter, depending on seasonal requirements.
- Flexible working schedule to be agreed.
Key Responsibilities
- Mowing and edging grassed areas.
- Weeding flower beds, borders, pathways, and paved areas.
- Pruning shrubs, hedges, and plants as required.
- Planting and maintaining seasonal flowers and displays.
- Sweeping and tidying beer garden areas and the car park.
- Removing litter and garden waste.
- Monitoring the general appearance and condition of outdoor spaces.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
Requirements
- Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining attractive outdoor spaces.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of carrying out gardening duties.
- Own transport and gardening tools are advantageous but not essential.
