Lead end-to-end design of Cheddar’s mobile and web experiences, from research to final UI execution. Design intuitive, high-converting user journeys that drive engagement and retention. Translate complex fintech data and financial insights into seamless, accessible interfaces. Work closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to align design decisions with business goals. Own and evolve our design system in Figma for a consistent, high-quality experience. Conduct user research, A/B testing, and iterative design improvements based on feedback and data. Stay ahead of fintech and UX/UI trends to continuously innovate our product. Not only make a design that delights, but also consider implementation by the development team, with an understanding of common hurdles of mobile and web development.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI experience, ideally in a high-growth B2C app environment.
- Proven ability to design and ship world-class mobile and web experiences.
- Expertise in Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design.
- Experience in fintech, especially open banking or personal finance apps, is a plus.
- A deep understanding of UX best practices, usability testing, and conversion optimisation.
- Strong collaboration skills – ability to work with product managers, engineers, and marketers.
- Based in London or surrounding areas with the ability to work in a hybrid setting.
