  • Flag new legal developments and consider their impact on Checkout.com.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dependable legal professional who can work autonomously and take responsibility for a wide range of their own matters. At a minimum, we are looking for:

  • A Law Degree (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience as a paralegal working on financial regulation.
  • A sound understanding of financial services regulation.

In addition, the following would be preferred (but are not absolutely required):

  • Proficiency in French.
  • Direct experience in an authorised fintech (such as a payment institution, e-money institution or neo-bank), or at a law firm with a strong regulatory practice.
