Checkout.com is actively seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Pricing to join our growing Pricing Team in London. The successful candidate will be working on building and deepening our pricing capability globally, working with Product, Finance, Commercial, Strategy, and Operation teams to design and implement the pricing strategy across our product suite.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and design pricing strategy and frameworks covering the whole Checkout.com product suite using pricing methodologies such as cost-plus and value-based approaches.
- Analyse internal and external data and maintain up-to-date pricing benchmarks to enhance the pricing philosophy and strategy.
- Analyse product-related costs and future profitability based on the pricing strategy.
- Be instrumental in defining pricing strategy across different regions, and perform market research and competitor analysis.
- Analyse performance of pricing frameworks after implementation.
- Prepare and present pricing proposals to key individuals across the organisation.
- Work closely with the commercial and marketing departments to create all vital pricing collateral.
About you:
- Experience in pricing or pricing projects with a payment processor, scheme or card issuing bank.
- Excellent analytical and research skills, and passion for data.
- Proactive, keen to take ownership and get things done.
- A self-starter capable of building strong collaborative relationships with business partners.
- A phenomenal communicator, able to influence individuals across levels within an organisation or with third parties.
- Experience with SQL and BI tools is a plus.
