As a Product Partnership Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Risk Operations organization is fully prepared to support our merchants with new product releases and enhancements. You’ll act as a vital link between our Product, Engineering, and Risk Operations teams, facilitating communication, ensuring teams are equipped for success, and championing merchant and Risk Operations needs in driving continuous improvements in processes and product design.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Represent the Risk Operations team in the ongoing relationship with Checkout’s Product department, defining Risk requirements for new product releases and enhancements.
  • Partner with the Risk Operations leadership team to regularly update the roadmap for enhancements to Risk Operations tooling, and advocate for such roadmap with Checkout’s Product managers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, providing crucial input on supportability, usability, and potential pain points from our internal Operations users' perspective.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers on product launches: conduct thorough assessments, identify potential risks, and provide go/no-go recommendations.
  • Support Risk Operations strategic initiatives such as vendor assessment, capacity planning and ad-hoc company-led projects.
  • Stay abreast of customer trends & requirements, competitor products, and market shifts.

About You

  • In-depth knowledge of product development processes and support operations.
  • Understanding of the complexities of bringing new products to market and the importance of seamless support.
  • Demonstrated experience in supportability, product readiness, or customer advocacy roles, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Passion for advocating for user needs and ensuring a positive support experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Expertise in data analysis to extract trends and insights (e.g. INDEX MATCH, SQL skills, Pivot tables).
  • Strong project management capabilities for coordinating readiness activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Payments industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Our hybrid working model offers flexibility, with three days per week in the office to support collaboration and connection.
