We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Financial Crime Product Compliance team. This is a role supporting new product launches and expansion of existing products on a global scale; helping Checkout.com maintain a world-class standard in financial crime requirements. You will coordinate between Commercial, Product, and Compliance teams, holding stakeholders to their commitments so that we can launch products with speed and integrity. The successful candidate must deeply understand AML/CTF and work closely with stakeholders across global teams.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Lead the product-to-compliance workflow. You will ensure Product teams provide complete and accurate product information for Compliance to perform risk assessments and map AML controls for MLRO approval.
  • Support regional MLROs across the globe by ensuring their bespoke requirements are captured and addressed. You will keep regional stakeholders informed and ensure their input is integrated into the launch process.
  • Monitor the progress of new initiatives through the governance lifecycle. You will follow up with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met on time, and call out risks to the launch timeline when information is missing or delayed.
  • Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders.
  • Oversee the consistency of documentation and data entry across the framework. You will ensure that all inputs and outputs are standardized, allowing for accurate and reliable.
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business.
  • Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com's operating principles.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within financial crime compliance.
  • Experience working in the payments sector: acquiring/issuing/payouts.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail, ensuring that the information shared between teams is accurate and that our reporting reflects the reality of our operations.
  • Good knowledge of PSRs, MLRs, PSD2 etc and ability to interpret regulations, assess the impact on new product implementation and collate AML/CTF controls requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across different levels and functions within Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance Advisory etc.
