This role is part of the Revenue and Billing Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Manager Revenue and Billing Operations. The purpose of this team is to accurately account for revenue, cost of sales, and associated balance sheet amounts, ensuring robust controls and providing analysis on net revenue results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for different balance sheet accounts, posting manual correction journals and working with different teams to resolve balance sheet issues.
  • Effectively business partner Finance leadership, providing commentary and analysis on net revenue performance and balance sheet position.
  • Support the group audit for the revenue and billing operations team.
  • Hold responsibility for setting up new revenue and balance sheet recording processes, including writing procedure manuals and providing guidance to more junior members of staff.
  • Continuous improvement of reporting/processes to assist with stakeholder requirements.
  • Set up documentation and processes that are robust and well controlled for period end close and audit purposes.
  • Continually look at ways of improving data integrity and quality, automation, strengthening of controls, operational and reporting efficiency.
  • Perform accounting and reconciliation processes and controls across key trading account balances.
  • Analyse and reconcile data from various systems and sources to identify control gaps and reconciliation breaks.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Professional finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Preferably with at least six years of progressive finance experience including month end reporting activities, and at least three years' experience of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Proven ability to find end-to-end solutions to issues and work cross-functionally and with remote teams - including Finance, Product, Engineering, Data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels.
  • Experience of revenue month end and ASC606/IFRS 15.
  • Strong data analysis, Excel data modelling and exposure to AI automation tools.
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Experienced with ERP systems (Workday Financials preferred but not required).
  • Experience of working in a high-volume, complex and dynamic environment in a regulatory environment, ideally within Payments/FinTech or Financial Services.
