Job Description
The Consumer team at Checkout.com is responsible for large parts of the Connect (helping customers seamlessly connect to our Global Payments Network) portfolio of products driving delightful and high performing payment experiences.
Flow and Remember Me are our flagship products in the Connect suite, offering a pre-built, customizable payment user interface that merchants can embed directly into their checkout experience across both web and mobile native applications. With 25+ payment methods dynamically presented and its range of optimizations and saved cards across merchants, Flow reduces time to market, accelerates global expansion and delivers best-in-class conversion and payment performance for our customers, all while simplifying compliance and security.
As a Product Manager focused on Payment Experiences, you will play a critical role in driving merchant and user acquisition, working core user journey on the front end and end to end flows across our internal systems and working with key cross-functional stakeholders including risk, fraud, operations and more.
Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We\βve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space, while also being able to partner with colleagues globally. Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute the product strategy for the domain. Define the product roadmap, prioritising features based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives.Regulatory and Compliance: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure the product meets all regulatory requirements set by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and other relevant bodies for e-money issuance in the UK. This includes understanding and implementing directives like PSD2 and ensuring KYC/AML compliance.User Experience (UX) and Product Design: Define the end-to-end user journey. Work with UX/UI designers to create an intuitive and seamless experience for users.Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and execute the GTM plan. Work with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure a successful launch and adoption among our existing merchant base and new customers.Performance Monitoring and Optimisation: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product. Monitor product performance post-launch, using data analytics to identify areas for improvement and iteration.Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com\βs customers, be them end-customers or developers, and businesses themselves.Build strong relationships across your network, particularly with engineering. You foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com\βs operating principles.
About You
Proven experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Growth Product Manager or in a similar role with a focus on user flow optimization, ideally within the fintech or payments industry.Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-informed decisions.Experience working in the UK financial services sector, across areas like APIs, payment processing is preferredUser-centric approach: Passionate about understanding merchant needs and creating seamless and enjoyable user experiences.Excellent communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proactive and results-oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a bias towards action.Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.
