Job Description
At Checkout.com, we\’re not just leading the future of global payments – we\’re creating a world-class employee experience. Our customer-first culture is the cornerstone of our success, and we\’re committed to delivering impactful and competitive benefits that reflect our values.
As we continue our rapid growth, we\’re seeking a proactive Benefits SME to take ownership of designing, implementing, and enhancing our benefits programs across EMEA, MENA, Mauritius, and APAC. You\’ll drive the end-to-end benefits strategy and operations, collaborating closely with Checkout leadership, People Onboarding, and external vendors, as well as employees, to build best-in-class benefits offerings while ensuring seamless delivery.
If you excel at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging data-driven insights, and tackling challenges in a dynamic environment, we\’d love to discuss how you can contribute to our journey!
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Owning and Executing Benefits Administration: Partnering with the wider Reward & People Onboarding team to manage the day-to-day operations of regional benefits, including enrollment, payroll integrations, compliance, and resolving employee inquiries.
- Managing Vendors and Systems: Serving as the primary point of contact for external benefits providers, negotiating contracts in partnership with our procurement team, overseeing invoices, and managing benefit systems – AON and other benefits platforms depending on location.
- Managing Renewals and Benefit Implementations: Overseeing regional benefit renewals and new benefit implementations throughout the year. This includes surveying employees, measuring employee satisfaction, creating and delivering employee communications, and conducting presentations.
- Solving Problems and Handling Escalations: Troubleshooting system and employee issues, ensuring efficient benefits processes across all regions.
- Strategic Planning and Benchmarking: Researching market trends, identifying opportunities, and recommending improvements to maintain competitive, employee-centric benefits offerings.
- Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Partnering with Payroll, People Onboarding, Finance and Procurement to ensure seamless execution and compliance of benefits programs.
- Taking Full Ownership: Independently managing benefits with minimal oversight, ensuring both operational excellence and long-term strategic enhancements.
Qualifications
What We\’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in benefits administration, with a proven track record of managing programs across multiple countries within EMEA, MENA, Mauritius, and APAC preferred but not required.
- Strong system expertise, and the ability to navigate complex administrative processes. Experience with various HRIS and benefits platforms is a plus, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable managing multiple operational tasks across diverse systems.
- An independent problem solver who thrives in managing benefits autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with experience overseeing external providers and ensuring cost-effective benefits solutions.
- An analytical mindset with data fluency, capable of forecasting costs and optimizing benefits strategy.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, where adaptability and execution are essential.
- A confident presenter, capable of delivering engaging presentations to employees across our various locations.
