Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager and leader to develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for our authentication products. This role will drive strategic initiatives to ensure our authentication solutions are at the forefront of industry standards, directly impacting our business growth and market position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of the authentication roadmap for short, mid, and long-term objectives.
  • Plan and document initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis to align with business goals.
  • Stay intimately familiar with authentication standards, including EMVCo 3D Secure and other relevant protocols.
  • Ensure our products comply with and leverage the latest industry standards to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and execute a robust strategy for the authentication product line.
  • Set clear, measurable goals and KPIs to track the success and impact of the strategy.
  • Act as a thought leader in the authentication domain, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.
  • Represent Checkout.com at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance our market position.
  • Actively communicate with stakeholders, including customers, to gather insights and drive product growth.
  • Provide regular updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage dependencies across other product teams to ensure seamless end-to-end capability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct thorough product discoveries to develop market needs and opportunities.
  • Communicate findings effectively with the engineering team to ensure alignment and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines to guide the execution of authentication initiatives including go-to-market.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget.
  • Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform product decisions.
  • Use insights to refine product features and enhance the user experience.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business.
  • Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of product management experience.
  • Experience building and working on Payment Authentication (3DS, PSD2) or ID&V products for Acquiring.
  • Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.
  • Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and balance future opportunities with immediate needs.
  • End-to-end mindset: Understand all key components necessary to drive ongoing product success.
  • Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.
  • Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
