Job Description The role: Checkout.com is looking for a Senior Manager Financial and Management Reporting to join our Finance team reporting to the Senior Director of Finance. This is a very exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a rapidly expanding global company. The role is in a multi-layered global finance team and will be a central point for finance for the UK region, as well as cover global requirements as required. The ideal candidate will be a great leader with a willingness to be hands-on, someone that is self-motivated with excellent communication skills. You’ll be joining a growing global controller team that is building a more controlled and best-in-class environment. The role owns and prepares the Group’s consolidated results, year-end IFRS financial statements for the largest group entities and quarterly external management accounts. How you’ll make an impact: Responsibility for the Group’s consolidated reporting and year-end financial statements for the consolidated Global Checkout.com group and the Group’s UK-based entities Own the creation of the annual financial statements for the Group and the Group’s main 2 UK entities, running the group audit for roles remit, ensuring adherence to latest reporting standards Responsible for Group level consolidation requirements including; consolidation, reporting taxonomy, FX and revaluation and intercompany As required, assist treasury with Group capital planning Manage the Global month-end reporting timetable, ensuring adherence to the timetable across finance, owning the consolidated month-end reporting close process including CFO presentation Manage a team member and be an active member of the Financial control leadership community Participate in local or global ad hoc projects as necessary, assisting the global teams to standardise processes and controls that are appropriate for a highly regulated environment Qualifications What we’re looking for: Successful candidates will bring a strong team leadership, accounting and financial control background. A candidate with experience in building financial reporting and control functions is preferred as well as having the high level of integrity demanded in an enterprise that operates in a complex, highly regulated environment. Very strong experience working within a Financial accounting and reporting environment Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Deep experience delivering consolidated financial statement reporting and delivering audits on time Experience working in a high volume, fast-growing, multinational company including leading accounting and audit activities, preferably within the payments or financial services industry Excellent stakeholder manager, comfortable being a leader in finance and liaising with numerous stakeholders across Checkout.com and external providers including numerous auditors Up-to-date technical skills and confident in preparing IFRS and US GAAP financial statements Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment Additional Information If you don’t meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
