Job description: The Business Development Manager is a pivotal hybrid role, designed to nurture and empower a team of BDRs while directly contributing to sales targets. This role serves as a crucial link between the BDR team and senior sales management, overseeing daily team operations, setting performance benchmarks, and facilitating continuous development. Concurrently, the Team Lead maintains an individual BDR quota, actively engaging in prospecting and opportunity generation to exemplify best practices and lead by example.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs, providing ongoing coaching and training to enhance performance and skill sets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one performance reviews to foster continuous improvement.
  • Set clear team performance goals and monitor progress, ensuring BDRs follow effective sales processes and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to align on and implement outbound strategies for high-quality lead generation and pipeline optimisation.

  • Generate and analyse reports on team performance to identify areas for improvement and maintain a productive work environment.
