We are looking for Senior Salesforce Engineers who bring fresh ideas, have a curious nature, and are passionate about building products and solutions in an engineering environment focused on delivering impact. You will work closely with business stakeholders and product teams across Checkout.com’s portfolio with a customer-first mindset.
What You’ll DoAs a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will lead and drive projects critical to Checkout’s needs, focusing on the Salesforce platform, its integration ecosystem, and related technologies. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Salesforce solutions, and you may switch teams and projects as the company grows.
- Lead project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, operations, and finance
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and the Salesforce development ecosystem
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including non-technical business users
- Experience in agile environments and delivering high-quality code within tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Interest in AI capabilities and how to apply Salesforce Einstein to enhance productivity
- Payments or financial knowledge is a plus
- Platform Developer I or II certification is highly desirable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and business operations
- Define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems within the Salesforce platform and its integrations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies used by Checkout
- Write clean, maintainable, testable Apex and LWC code for high-impact business systems
- Build, own, and operate Salesforce solutions with strong resilience and service levels
- Mentor junior team members and support their development within the Salesforce ecosystem
