Checkout.com is actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Product Manager to join our growing team in London to support our Card Acquiring team. This position requires you to work and coordinate with our operations, product, financial partnership and compliance teams to understand and define the scheme requirements as part of our global acquiring expansion initiatives. You will also be responsible for analysing scheme features/requirements in supporting new payment product launches while maintaining processing excellence. In addition to this, you will be building out processes within the team to scale and disseminate payments knowledge and best practice across the organisation.
About You:
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Management, managing end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to release
- Have led complex Product areas that have required you to work cross functionally across many teams and domains
- Strong collaborator, communicator with the ability to influence decisions while inspiring confidence.
- You know how to get things done; able to organise/liaise with internal and external teams to meet timelines.
- Obsessed with quality and attention to details, while aiming for simplicity and efficiency.
- A pragmatic thinker with an ability to think outside the box. Demonstrated strong problem solving skills, as well as strong data & root cause analysis skills.
- Having a technical background is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Experience working with payments is preferred.
The Role:
- Demonstrate cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams to bring value to internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain a deep understanding of our clients and prospects pain points, drive prioritization for product development and unlock new cards processing opportunities.
- Develop product vision and product strategy to build scalable, compliant and configurable processing features that unlock value.
- Maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with Senior product Managers and engineering leaders and ensure alignment with cross functional pillars and deliver coherently across the company.
- Make sure to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements, and then translate them into meaningful functionalities that can be easily implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products.
- Synthesize and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications and conduct feasibility studies by analyzing impacts.
- Identify and resolve risk early on our card expansion projects, and support engineering, design, research, product marketing and other colleagues in project delivery.
