Checkout.com is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Treasury New Products function within Group Treasury. This function is critical for providing dedicated support for new product initiatives and acts as a central contact point for the Product teams. This role will help enable the successful and compliant delivery of new products and enhancements. This role focuses on supporting product design and execution from the Treasury perspective.
The successful candidate will:
- Collaborate with various teams to advise on the Treasury implications of new product development.
- Help embed Treasury requirements into the product lifecycle, from design through execution.
- Take a lead in identifying the gaps for Treasury processes, such as Liquidity management, Safeguarding, FX risk and Payments execution and coordinate with the stakeholders for improvements.
- Assist in the application of Treasury knowledge to help create pragmatic solutions that support product growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Legal, Compliance) to review and advise on product development opportunities from the Treasury standpoint for the allocated product pillar.
- Help ensure that Group Treasury's requirements - including those related to data, system integration, operational processes, and risk management - are incorporated into new product development and optimization efforts.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the Product teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination with relevant Treasury Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Support the documentation and implementation of frameworks and policies relevant to New Product readiness.
- Assist in coordinating stakeholder requirements across different functions and geographies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid foundational understanding of Treasury functions in the Payments/Financial Services industry OR demonstrated experience with Payments products and platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with different stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-haves)
- Experience in new product assessments, project management, or business advisory roles.
- An understanding of complex payment and flow of funds.
- Familiarity with financial resource management or cash management practices.
