We're Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we're behind many of the digital experiences you use every day. We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers. Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there's a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale. If you want to do career-defining work, you've come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact. With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we're shaping the future of fintech – and we're just getting started.

At Checkout.com, we create Marketing that Moves: moves people to buy our products, builds a brand where top-notch marketers trust us with their careers, and fuels growth to make Checkout.com the irresistible choice.

Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally changing how modern marketing organisations operate. In this role you will identify where AI can create the greatest business impact, redesign workflows, implement AI-enabled ways of working and help every marketer become significantly more productive. It is a business transformation role focused on embedding AI into everyday work, enabling Marketing to move faster, operate more efficiently and create greater impact at scale.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Define Marketing's AI Strategy: Own the AI transformation roadmap for Marketing, identifying the highest-impact opportunities to improve productivity, quality and speed across the organisation.
  • Transform Marketing Workflows: Redesign core marketing workflows using AI, automation and intelligent systems to eliminate manual work and simplify execution.
  • Scale AI Adoption: Develop practical frameworks, playbooks and training that enable every marketer to confidently use AI in their daily work.
  • Build AI Products for Marketing: Partner with internal and external teams to implement AI agents, workflow automations and productivity tools that become part of Marketing's operating model.
  • Drive Measurable Productivity Gains: Define success metrics, track adoption and demonstrate measurable improvements in efficiency, quality and business impact.
  • Partner Across Functions: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Security, IT and Operations to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with company standards.
  • Shape the Future Marketing Organisation: Continuously identify emerging AI capabilities and recommend how Marketing should evolve to remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Build a Culture of Continuous Innovation: Champion experimentation, learning and responsible AI adoption across the organisation.

What We're Looking For:

  • AI Transformation Experience: Experience leading AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives within a modern marketing or technology organisation.
  • Workflow Design Expertise: Strong understanding of how marketing teams operate and how AI can fundamentally improve productivity.
  • Systems Thinking: Able to redesign complex operating models rather than optimise individual tasks.
  • Strong Change Leadership: Experience driving organisation-wide adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
  • Technical Curiosity: Comfortable working with AI platforms, workflow automation tools and emerging technologies without necessarily being an engineer.
  • Commercial Mindset: Focused on measurable business outcomes rather than technology for technology's sake.
  • Builder's Mindset: Excited by creating entirely new capabilities and helping define the future of marketing.
