As a Front End Software Engineer embedded within a multifunctional team, you will collaborate with Product and Design counterparts to lead the UI implementation of Checkout.com products and services, ensuring our merchants enjoy an optimal experience across all frontend touchpoints. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of React and TypeScript: Capable of turning requirements into reality.
- Experience in software development, design, and architecture, with exposure to good security practices.
- Experience collaborating on software projects with both design and backend teams.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment workflows.
- Cloud-based application development experience.
- Strong customer focus; building accessible applications with a great UX.
- Experience building reliable, accessible and well-tested systems.
- Great communication skills and ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
- Some experience with C# is nice to have.
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and performance issues in web applications and knowing how to debug them.
- Experience with asynchronous, event-driven architecture.
- Database experience with NoSQL, ElasticSearch or similar tool.
