Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Finance Technology team by configuring and maintaining Workday Adaptive Planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll work with Finance, Data, and Technology partners to keep planning processes reliable and well-controlled. You’ll gain independence on well-defined configuration, integration, and improvement tasks, while receiving guidance on more complex design decisions. You’ll join a fast-moving fintech with a global footprint and a strong focus on impactful automation and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and enhance Adaptive Planning models, dimensions, versions, and planning workflows
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, scenario modelling, and management reporting
  • Build and maintain data loads and integrations between Adaptive Planning and Workday systems
  • Maintain data mappings, transformations, validations, and reconciliation processes
  • Monitor scheduled loads, investigate failures, and resolve data/configuration issues
  • Triages incidents, identifies root causes, and escalate high-risk issues with recommended next steps
  • Collaborate with Finance to translate requirements into maintainable configurations and integrations
  • Contribute to analytics data flows, including potential use of Adaptive Planning data in BigQuery
  • Participate in testing, release preparation, and controlled deployment
  • Adhere to change-control, access-management, data-quality, and audit requirements
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles
  • Identify recurring manual work and propose automation and process improvements

Key requirements

  • Experience in a finance systems, enterprise applications, data, reporting, or integration environment
  • Practical experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or strong equivalent planning/ERP/finance app experience
  • Understanding of core finance planning concepts (budgets, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, dimensions, hierarchies, scenarios)
  • Experience configuring data models, workflows, reports, dashboards, or business rules
  • Ability to manage data imports/exports, mappings, transformations, validations, and reconciliations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication of findings
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, access control, auditability, and repeatability
  • Ability to manage small-to-medium-sized tasks independently and escalate when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication with Finance and Technology stakeholders
