Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Finance Analyst Apprentice to join our Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in Fintech while gaining a world-class professional qualification. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Director and work within a global team that is building a best-in-class financial environment.

As an apprentice, you will spend 20% of your time dedicated to your ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) studies, with the remaining 80% spent gaining hands-on experience in our fast-paced EU Finance department.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Month-End Support: Assist with monthly postings in our accounting system, learning the heartbeat of a global business's financial cycle.
  • Financial Accuracy: Help perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and assist in variance analysis to ensure our numbers are precise.
  • Spend Management: Review supplier invoices to ensure correct account coding and cost centre allocation, gaining insight into how a global company manages its expenses.
  • Process Evolution: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our month-end processes as we scale our operations across Europe.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a point of support for our Accounts Payable and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) teams, helping resolve queries and share data.

In addition to the above, the programme would include exposure to a variety of teams within the Finance organisation.
