Core Responsibilities
- Web Design & Development β Leading design and maintenance of Checkout.comβs main website and owned web experiences.
- Collaboration β Working closely with Content & Web to prioritize web priorities aligned to the Web Roadmap.
- End-to-End Design Process β Managing ideation, UX/UI design, prototyping, development process, and supporting the dev team.
- User Experience & Interface β Conducting competitive analysis, market research, creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and overseeing iterative design improvements.
- Stakeholder Management β Collaborating with creatives, marketers, content writers, product managers, events team, and key stakeholders; ensuring deliverables align with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Content & Web Support β Supporting the Content & Web team in developing design solutions effectively.
- Subject Matter Expertise β Acting as a web design subject matter expert across Marketing, offering guidance and advice.
- Web Design Discipline β Owning web design practice, exploring innovative solutions, identifying and implementing best practice, and managing workload autonomously aligned to the Web roadmap.
- Collaboration & Training β Mentoring and training designers on tools like Webflow; conducting workshops and educational sessions on UX/UI fundamentals, editor-level web management, AI tools.
